His Spector Still Haunts Us
No matter want we do, it seems, short of declaring him illegal and a health hazard, PET and his whiny offspring will continue to haunt us. A recent poll commissioned by the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation has found some interesting facts (?) concerning immigration and multiculturalism in Canada.
As reported by the Red Star, "There's a limit to Canadians' acceptance of multiculturalism, especially when a group's beliefs on gender equality clash with "mainstream" values, " So just what are these "values"? Wellllll. It seems that should read VALUE. The only mention of any value was that "81 per cent of respondents in the Environics survey said newcomers should adapt to Canadian values on the rights and role of women." Great. I happen to agree with that.
But then the poll falls apart, unless you happen to be a socialist, commie leftie.
This scares the hell out of me: the poll "found that half of Canadians had a positive impression of Islam — a 4 percentage point increase from 2003 — despite post-9/11 backlash and the June arrests of members of an alleged terrorist cell in Toronto. One in three said Muslims were "rarely" portrayed fairly in the media." Lord thunderin Jesus. Have the Islamofacists succeeded that well with their and the MSM's brainwashing here in Canuckistan? Muslims were "rarely portrayed fairly in the media??? Are these goons stupid, deaf, dumb, and blind? Or a combination of all? Guess what, you little dhimis. When your compatriots and fellow believers in the "Religion of Peace" stop the suicide bombings, beheading of captives, etc, then maybe the rest of us will look upon you a little better! "Almost seven of 10 respondents said law-abiding Canadian Muslims should not personally feel responsible for terrorist acts committed by others in the name of their religion." WRONG!! Until these law-abiding Islamolites stand-up and start turning in their fellow terrorists, they ARE responsible. It's called aiding and abbeting.
And of course we have this little gem, which is every social engineers dream: "68 per cent objected to the idea of screening potential immigrants' religious beliefs and values." Ah yes. And the Dippers wonder why other countries look on us as the West's terrorist haven?
Of course CAIR-CAN was also mentioned, but I'll let you read their tripe.
Keep in mind, this is a poll, and we all know how accurate they are ( and NO, I don't mean +/- 3%). Still, that we have even a small amount of sympathizer's for Islamofascism should be cause for concern.

They obviously only polled a select group of muslims. Those numbers are no where near anything real, unless your in downtown Toronto.
I agree with Ab, Justthinkin. I think very little of polls anyway, and it definitely depends on who did the poll as well as what questions were asked. This one sounds like they asked questions of Canadians with islamofascists standing on the sideline with their swords drawn! I just can't believe that many Canadians are that stupid!
The Muzzies didn't weaken the Canadian mind - the Socialists did. Some of you have your wits about you. Write on!
