Homemade gun seized in arrest.
A man is facing 15 firearms and drug-related charges after a homemade gun was pulled during a police investigation last night.When they approached to arrest him, the suspect pulled a homemade "zip gun" containing a 22-calibre bullet from his pocket, Staff Sgt. Dan Sabadics said.
"It looks like, really, just a little larger than a pen," Sabadics said of the firearm. "Upon impact with something, it will fire a round."
Whew. All I can say is thank God the lieberals still aren't in power. Just think of the billions they could blow and spend on their friends by making secretarys criminals with their new "Ball Point Pen Reigistry"!! Why, they could keep the welfare state called the Maritimes rolling in Federal bucks for years. And just think of the millions required to set-up and run all those new Pen Registry computers and software. After all, they couldn't use pens unless they had a " Pen Acquistion Certificate" and it was properly registered, along with any refills. Mo Strong and Power Corp must be crying into their chopsticks at this missed opportunity.
The officers found "a quantity of marijuana" and learned the man was currently on a court release for possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Of course the judge that released him also believed his defense lawyer who probably said that his client had learned his lesson and would now be a good boy. Appears that what he learned was that he didn't want to be arrested again. Same old, same old. Boy. I for one am so disappointed that the lieberals allowed this loophole in the first place. They sure weren't putting their socialist/communist plans into place to well. To bad Hitler or Suddam wasn't around to advise them. But then how did Mo miss getting info on how to subjugate a peoples from his good Chinese buddies? Tsk. hem lefties just can't get anything right.

It's just plain luck that the asshat didn't shoot one of the cops. Why do these judges keep letting these people out? I don't understand it.
Off topic, but on your last post you mentioned in the comment section that you're going to change to Halo Scan this weekend. Be very careful to get those links in the right place. If memory serves me right, there are two links to work with, and it's also very easy to lose all your comments. I was afraid of screwing it up so I had someone I trusted do it for me. Perhaps they've made it easier to install by now; I hope so.
