When Cindy Klassen rejoins the World Cup speedskating circuit in January, she will do so as Canada's outstanding athlete.

She closed the season as the holder of world records for the 100 metres, 1,500 and 3,000 and points leader of something called the Adelskalender — the career world rankings in the sport. She has been speedskating for seven years with the national team. Prior to that she was a member of the national women's junior hockey team, played field lacrosse in a demonstration event at the 1994 Commonwealth Games and competed in the Winnipeg Pan American Games in 1999 as an inline skater. In 2003, she became the first Canadian in 27 years to win the overall title at the world speedskating championships.

Iran opens conference that questions Holocaust
Iran on Monday opened a Holocaust conference that it said would examine whether the genocide took place, claiming the meeting was an opportunity for discussion in an atmosphere free of Western taboos.

I usually don't do more than one post a day, but Ab got me to thinking with a comment he left.
I made a post about how Islam dicriminates against, and denegrates women (see post below).I wondered why the Useless Nations and women's groups weren't rallying to fight this.( So let the rant begin) To me, the answer is simple, tolerance...or rather POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.
The U.N. and other states sit on their asses and allow Darfur to happen. They allow 16 year old girls who are raped to be stoned to death. They allow a cult to run rampant, saying that it is a religion. Kofi says that Iraq is worse off now then it was under Saddam. They accuse Israel of war crimes when she defends herself against terrorist attacks. These "people" allow mass murder, genocide, rape, and hundreds of other crimes against humanity to go unpunished.
Why?
Again, simple. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.
Or as anybody with a brain knows it...THE RIGHT TO BLAME THE WESTERN WORLD and especially the UNITED STATES, for any and all failings of the socialists/commies/facists/leftists.
I defy ANYBODY to name me more than 4 countries that have consistently, and unfailingly, taken a stand against facism,communism,terrorism, and marxism.
And yet these countries are dragged through the dirt, spit on, by the very people who would suffer the most if they failed in the quest to obliterate hatred and intolerance. There is such a thing as love thy neighbour, but when your neighbour tells you to either accept his religion, or die, then any man, woman, child, or country with an ounce of self-esteem will stand up to, and fight against, such terrorism.

Yes, I lack some of their qualities to the degree that they possesed them, but I am not afraid of them. I do not have to deny them schooling. I do not have to keep them clad in burlap sacks because I am afraid that I cannot control my carnal lusts. I do not have to treat them like chattel. I do not feel that their word is only worth half of a man's. My only hope and prayer is that I can even remotely come close to what they stood for.

A man is facing 15 firearms and drug-related charges after a homemade gun was pulled during a police investigation last night.When they approached to arrest him, the suspect pulled a homemade "zip gun" containing a 22-calibre bullet from his pocket, Staff Sgt. Dan Sabadics said.
"It looks like, really, just a little larger than a pen," Sabadics said of the firearm. "Upon impact with something, it will fire a round."

They Needed A Study For This?

Early reading skills vital, report suggests.

The National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth released a study to Stats Canada that says that early reading skills of a child are significantly linked to their later test scores regardless of a child’s socio-economic background, gender or mother tongue. My God. Who would have thunk it! You mean if you can't read, you can't pass tests?? Holy moley. And all this time I thought it was because the test were written in Klingon! Boy. Am I ever glad that good taxpayer money was used on this study to point this out to me. After all, if the socialists don't tell us what's wrong, why we peons just can't figure it out for ourselves!
I just love this gem from the study...Early reading skills are related to a child's later ability to use and understand printed information, regardless of the child's background. Imagine! You can't use printed information if you can't read it! Damn. That's like saying you can't use math if you can't add. Of course I may wrong on that last one. There hasn't been a study released yet.

Have we really become so dumbed down and just plain stupid that we need a study for this? And just as another thought...who the hell is going to read and understand this study? Certainley not the Grade 3 & 4's we are turning out now. Ain't socialism wonderful?

The Connection

Just a quick post for some thought. I may be crazy, but I think I have figured out aconnection between lefties, Islamofacists, and the Useless Nations......KYOTO and CLIMATE INJUSTICE.

Consider the facts. All the above want to squelch and eradicate, if possible, anything Christian, the lefties through the ACLU, CAIR, CAIR-CAN, etc. The Islamofacists just want Christians all dead. And the U.N. just wants Israel to disappear.

Now how does this tie in with Kyoto and Climate Injustice? Simple. First of all, by transferring billions of the West's dollars to all the Islamofacists so that they can better arm themselves. Secondly, once they have achieved their goal of eliminating Christianity, then the world will be back in the 13th century. VIOLA!! No cars, no industry, no planes, no internal combustion engines, no oil/gas to burn, just camel shit to light and heat your grass hovel. What could be better to the above groups! Their goal of world unity, one world government, and pollution stopped, all in one fell swoop of the sword!
Of course it hasn't occurred to the lefties and the Useless Nations that they won't be here to enjoy Utopia, seeing as they will be fertilizer. C'est la vie.

Well this is just wonderful. Number 1, the definition of a refugee is a person who owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality, and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country, as defined by that part of the Useless Nations called the UNHCR. Good. But if such above person makes it Canada from Iraq, I guarantee you that they are terrorists. Why? They are the only one's who the ability to lay their hands on $5,000 US in the first place.
Number 2: 11. (1) A foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act.

Please note that any genuine refugee from Iraq, applying under all the laws and from outside the country has an almost zero chance of getting here. In 2005, of more than 3,000 LEGAL applications, fewer than 100 were accepted. And of those 3,000 applying, 99% where Iraqi Christians. UMMMMMMM.
So it basically comes down to this. The Useless Nations scream and hollar for more support for refugees, but in all of Europe, only the Swiss allow Iraqis. Guess if you're not a poor, down-trodden Palestinian Hamas supporter getting "genocided" by Israel, you don't count.
And why not Canada? After all, most of socialist Eastern Canada places a higher value on Islamofascism and its great religion than Canadian values. And the Islamofacists know they have Taliban Jack and the Lieberals support. After all, the Lieberals donate and attend known terrorist group's dinner parties. The year 2006 is almost gone. We will probably remember some of it as the Year of The Dinosaur(Rona), unlike the 4 times the Fiberals earned the title. But then we all know the MSM isn't bias. So as a small tribute to Kyoto and that new Idol of the Idiots, Global Injustice, I offer the following as we struggle through yet another day of snow and -15C( W/C -30). Enjoy.

So bad was the driving that a certain number of commandments had to be written on huge tablets of ice and offered to the asses -- I mean masses -- who would otherwise think that they knew how to driveth, especially the SUV dumbos.

It is written.

Thou shalt go forth and purchase a substance known as lock de-icer.
Thou shalt immediately put said product in thine glove box. Henceforth, when thy locks freezeth, thou can thinketh how stupid it was to put it in thy car.

Thou art an idiot.

After thou starth thy buggy, thou shall see a high temperature light. Thou shall then discover that despite Climate Injustice, water still freezth at -25 without proper anti-freeze. Thou shall then driveth thy buggy in an attempt to turn off said light. Thou shall then discover what "engine seizure" meanth.

After parking thy buggy at work during an all-day snowstorm, thou shalt suddenly remember that thy snow brush is hanging up at thine home, safely in thy garage.
